This exciting family-friendly event is dedicated to LGBTQIA+ children, families, and allies as part of Houston's LGBTQ+ History Month festivities in October. And you won't want to miss any of the activities that are planned!

Activities will include lively entertainment, a reading room, children's story time, food trucks, face painting, games, an LGBTQ+ History installation, interactive art projects, all that the Discovery Green® playgrounds and water installations have to offer, and much more! Hosted by HCDVCC (Harris County Domestic Violence Coordinating Council), this calming meditative experience is free for attendees.

A sound bath is a meditative experience where those in attendance are “bathed” in sound waves. These waves are produced by various sources, including healing instruments such as gongs, singing bowls, percussion, chimes, rattles, tuning forks, and even the human voice itself. The intention is to change and help balance the energy of the participants.
