Families with Pride is back! The annual event hosted by Council Member Abbie Kamin in partnership with the Greater Houston LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce invites you to join in the fun this June. This year, the organizers are teaming up with Discovery Green® for an even bigger and better celebration for Houston’s families. 

This exciting, family-friendly event is dedicated to LGBTQIA+ children, families, and allies as part of Houston's Pride Month festivities. Activities will include lively entertainment, an indoor reading room, children's story time, food trucks, face painting, games, a History of Pride installation, interactive art projects, all that the Discovery Green® playgrounds and water installations have to offer, and much more! Plus, don't miss the Proud Puppy Party showcasing Houston's proudest four-legged babies!
